Chord
Chord is an AI-orchestrated communication platform that improves group reasoning and broadens participation in collective decision-making.
Through an AI facilitator that runs parallel one-on-one conversations and synthesizes points of agreement in real time, Chord helps groups make decisions that more fully reflect their members’ reasoning, knowledge, and concerns — without the bottleneck of a sequential meeting. Operated by Sylience, Inc. (a Public Benefit Corporation), Chord aims to become trusted infrastructure for the high-stakes decisions humanity faces during the AI transformation — including consequential choices made inside AI labs, governments, and other institutions whose decisions will shape outcomes for everyone.
Chord — originally developed as “DecisionMate” during an FLF’s fellowship — was seeded through the fellowship and has since been independently funded.
